Juke Box Heroes

So I’ve been kicking this idea around for a few months now, and I really started thinking about it after yesterday’s post,  and so I thought I’d throw this out to the world and see if there are any takers.   When I’m not working or writing about music that I recorded off the radio 20 years ago, I write comic book stories, and I had this idea of doing a webcomic of short stories inspired by the music I’ve been featuring here.  Seemed like a fun experiment to have a soundtrack for a comic book story and I could play around with different writing styles and visuals.  SO. . .if there are any artists out there who’d like to collaborate on some stories for fun, let me know, or if you know of someone who’d get a kick out of drawing a comic book inspired by Hall and Oates, send them my way 🙂

Any artists out there who’d be interested in working on something like this?

This is a fantastic idea! Do it, do it, do it! I would love to participate in any way that I could, but as you can tell by my ‘Spineless Wonders’, I am somewhat limited as an artist!

Thanks for the encouragement! I’m thoroughly enjoying “Spineless Wonders”, and I think we could come up with something pretty interesting, I’m very good at writing towards someone’s artistic style 😉 And in the meanwhile, if you know of any other artists out there who might be interested, direct them my way, so far I’ve not gotten any bites yet :/

Thanks, Starstorm, glad you’re enjoying it. Yesterday’s one was just not well received at all. If I had put a simple reference in the speech bubble it would probably have gone down better.

Your ideas sound like a lot of fun! 🙂 I will keep my ear to the ground for other folk too. 🙂

I totally have an opinion on this!
