Radio XXXI, side A, track 10: “Tell It To My Heart” by Taylor Dayne

Taylor Dayne - Tell It To My HeartOh, Taylor Dayne, you seem very insistent that you want me to tell it to your heart.  And who am I to argue?  I’ll tell it to your heart or any other body part that you suggest.  Although I’ll warn you, when I tell your heart that it really is love and not just a game, I’m going to sound out of breath because I AM out of breath because of you mentioning that you feel your body rock every time I call your name.  That’s pretty hot, Taylor Dayne.  There’s a chance I might just keep saying your name.  Taylor Dayne.  Taylor Dayne.  Taylor Dayne.

Too much, Taylor Dayne?

I apologize, Taylor Dayne, but you can’t just tell a guy that your body rocks every time he says your name and not expect him to say your name, Taylor Dayne.  The majority of us guys are pragmatic, Taylor Dayne, and when we’re told something works, and works quite well, we’re likely to stick with what works, Taylor Dayne.  Don’t get me wrong, Taylor Dayne, I’m happy to get creative.  Dayne.  Taylor Dayne.  Mix it up a little, TayDay.  As long as it continues to make your body rock, I’ll say whatever you need me to say.

Taylor Dayne.

“Tell It To My Heart”

I feel the night explode

When we’re together

Emotion overload

In the heat of pleasure

Take me, I’m yoooours, into your arms

Never let me go

Tonight I really need ta knoooow
Tell it to my heart
Tell me I’m the only one
Is this really love or just a game

Tell it to my heart
I can feel my body rock
Every time you call my name

The passion’s so complete

It’s neverending

As long as I receive

The message you’re sending

Body to body, soul to soul

Always feel you near

So say the words I long to heeeeeeear
Tell it to my heart
Tell me I’m the only one
Is this really love or just a game

Tell it to my heart
I can feel my body rock
Every time you call my name

<awesome Taylor Dayne jam>

Love
Love on the run
Breaking us down
Though we keeeep holdin’ on
Don’t want to lose
No, I can’t letchoo goooooooooo

Tell it to my heart
Tell me I’m the only one
Is this really love or just a game

Tell it to my heart
I can feel my body rock
Every time you call my name

Tell it to my heart
Tell me from the stars
Tell it to my heeeeeeeeeeart

Tell it to my heart
Tell me from the stars
Tell it to my heeeeeeeeeart

Never make it stop
Oh, take it to the heart, oh no no ah ah
Tell it to my heart
Tell me I’m the only one
Is this really love or just a game

Tell it to my heart
I can feel my body rock
Every time you call my name

Tell it to my heart
Tell me I’m the only one
Is this really love or just a game
