Radio 71, side B, track 7: “I Hate Myself For Loving You” by Joan Jett and The Blackhearts

Oh, Joan Jett and The Blackhearts, the first time I ever recorded this off the radio, it was brand-spankin’ new.  It was actually only the fifth song I ever recorded on my tapes.  So I thought it was pretty nifty that here you were showing up again on my first “tape” in the new millennium.  I actually just saw Joan on “The Voice” as one of the guest coaches and she was as awesome as ever.  At one point she even said “I love rock and roll” in an un-ironic manner.  I think that sums up y’all pretty well.  And also un-ironically, I DON’T hate myself for lovin’ you.
