Oh, Motley Crue, as I’m writing this, it’s 9:30-ish at night, and I was slammed with a giant wave of nostalgia, which is saying something, since that’s pretty much ALL this blog is. Â I’m currently doing a little house-sitting and it’s just me and a friendly old cat, and I’m sitting here listening to some Motley Crue on the nightly countdown in an otherwise quiet house. Â Besides the fact that I’m listening to this most righteous song over the mystical internet, and I’m doing so in Texas instead of Minnesota, and I’m fatter and older, and I’m married, and this song hasn’t been on a nightly countdown for a few decades, other than that, nothing much as changed since August of 1990. Â One might even say it’s the same ol’ situation?
Seriously, though, Motley Crue, thanks for making me feel like a teenager again for a few minutes on a quiet Monday night.
