Oh, Vixen, it’s nice to know that sometimes girls have the same problems that boys have. For example, in this song, this awesome song I might add, you answer your own question in the same lyric: “With your centerfold body goin’ through the moves, why did I keep wastin’ the truth on you?” Uhhhh, did you say this guy had a centerfold body? Well, I think we all know why you got wrapped around his finger (amongst other body parts). Look at the bright side, Vixen. For one thing, you got a great song out of the deal. And for another, you’re not alone.
Speaking on behalf of most of the population, we’ve all been blinded by a pretty face (amongst other body parts). When you’re going out with a pretty person who is also actually pretty horrible, that prettiness goes a long way. Now, I know that you ladies won’t completely get this since you’re gorgeous yourselves, but there are lot of us out here who are fairly average looking. So when we start dating someone who is much higher than us on the hot or not scale, it’s a pretty big deal for us. And when I say us, I’ll just say me, because I don’t want to be speaking for an entire group of average looking people.
Anyway, Vixen, when you’re dating a pretty person who also happens to be a sociopath, you try like hell to ignore those sociopathic tendencies or at least try to make excuses for them. Eventually, though, that personality is going to come back to bite you, sometimes literally, and there aren’t enough good looks in the world to get beyond it. Most likely, they’ll end up being the ones to kick you to the curb first, anyway, because it really is hard to let such a pretty thing go, but regardless of who makes the first move in the endgame, the results are always the same. They go on to presumably date other pretty and pretty horrible people and you continue being average looking but having learned an important lesson about basing your judgment on someone by their looks. It’s very true that you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover, but when you REALLY wanna kiss that cover, it’s really damn difficult.
