Radio 87, side A, track 8: “You Got Lucky” by Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers

Oh, Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers, I guarantee you if I’d been recording this as a kid off the radio and the DJ didn’t tell me what the name of this one was, I would have written it down as “Good Love Is Hard To Find”.  Which I think is what I always thought the name of this song was until just now.  I remember this one vaguely from my childhood, and now I’m kicking myself that I didn’t know it better, because I’ve gotten dumped a few times in my day, and this song would have been perfect to add to a cassette and send out to an ex-paramour.  Not that I would have believed the actual sentiments, i.e. that they were lucky to have found me.  It was pretty much always the other way around.  But still.
