Radio XXXVI, side B, track 3: “Hold On Tight” by Work Force

Oh, Work Force, this hasn’t happened too often since I started this blog, but sometimes there’s almost nothing about a band or a song that I can find on the internet.  Granted, if it doesn’t come up on the first couple of pages of a Google search, that’s the extent of my searching prowess, but come on, Work Force, if you’re not on the first page of a Google search, do you really even exist?  Not saying that there’s nothing on you.  I found a You Tube video of this song, and judging by the comments, you’ve got a few fans out there, but no personal website?  No Wikipedia article? What the what, Work Force?  I’m not saying that I remembered this song when I saw the name pop up on my track list, but once I listened to it. . .well, I still didn’t completely remember it, BUT I thought it was a damn good song.  And I’m really glad that I recorded it, because now if other Work Force fans are looking for a little bit more on you guys, they’ll at least have the lyrics to one of your songs.  Plus they’ll get to hear that you guys were a big deal, if only for a moment on a rural radio station on a 48-degree morning.  That’s more than a lot of people will ever be able to say about their lives, Work Force, so bask in your new-found internet glory!
