Oh, Joan Jett and The Blackhearts, whoever lied to you must have really done a number on you. Until I heard this song, even if you were singing about somebody who was screwing you over, you were still growling and screaming those lyrics defiantly. This was the first time you sounded, dare I say it, vulnerable. Not completely, of course, Joan Jett and The Blackhearts, I mean you can hear your sneer when this guy or gal still wants to sleep with you and you’re like, “Yeah, call me when you’re not such a douche.” And what’s up with them, anyway, asking to sleep with you after they’ve clearly made you feel so horrible? I don’t know what they lied about, Joan Jett and The Blackhearts, but you’re better off without them. They sound kinda skeezy. I, of course, would NEVER lie to you. So call me sometime.
